Our Purpose
We help teams thrive with proven technology solutions. That’s been true since Ben and Annie Love founded Grassroots IT in 2005, and it’s still the only measure that matters: not how much technology we deploy, but whether it makes your operation more reliable, more secure, and easier to run.
The businesses we work best with aren’t simple. Multiple sites, field crews, specialised equipment, compliance obligations that flow down from bigger clients — the kind of complexity that makes generic IT providers nervous is where we do our best work. We built the team, the certifications and the processes to match.
How We Got Here
Ben spent years across software development, IT sales, website development, systems administration, network management and IT management before he and Annie set out on their own in 2005, with a simple aim: help businesses use technology to grow, without technology becoming the thing that holds them back.
Two decades on, that’s grown into a Brisbane-based team of dedicated specialists, each one committed to the same thing — understanding a client’s operation well enough to actually solve their problems, not just answer their tickets. Our staff retention rate reflects that; so does the fact that many of our longest client relationships go back years, not months.
